Most seedstock producers didn’t get into the business because they love the paperwork.  In fact, if you are like many seedstock producers there isn’t enough time to get everything done.  So, when you get home, tired and worn out at the end of the day, the last thing you want to do is sit at a computer and submit data.  You don’t have to dread submitting records to your association!  UltraInsights is currently working with dozens of seedstock producers from various breeds.  Let UltraInsights help with YOUR records and get back your time!

1) Call 660-562-2074 and discuss your needs and situation.  This call typically takes just 20 minutes.  

2) If it seems like a fit, start working with your assigned UltraInsights team member to get you caught up on your paperwork.

Here’s a list of our services to see what we could do for you:

  • Submit data to your association:
    • We currently work with Angus, Red Angus, Simmental and Gelbvieh members.
    • We’re willing to learn other breeds to better serve you!
    • We can run Cow Sense for you.
    • We can keep $Profit updated.
    • The data we can submit is endless (along with optional data):
      • Birthing information (teat/udder scores, calving ease)
      • Weaning information (disposition)
      • Yearling information (hip height, scrotal circumferences, foot scores, disposition, feed intake)
      • Breeding and preg check information (ET/IVF, mature weights, hip height, foot scores)
    • Assist in submitting DNA:
      • We can get orders ready for you or your association.
      • We can prepare the DNA order form online or email it to you.
      • Then all you have to do is take the samples and send them in!
  • Register and/or transfer animals with your association:
    • We get the animals ready in your cart for you to review, pay, and submit.
  • Create forms to make being chuteside easier and less stressful:
    • If you send us preg check/breeding information we can make a projected calving form.
    • If we have the birth information we can make a form to record weaning information.
    • Can make any form custom to fit your needs!
  • We can help keep your inventory on your association up to date.
  • We accept any form of paperwork whether that is an excel form, a pdf of a written form, or even a picture of the calving book.

Becoming a co-operator with Leachman Cattle Company of Colorado in 2010 meant a big change in recording keeping. Not only was I sending records to ASA but now Leachman as well. It was a great relief to start sending just one set of records to UltraInsights who then dealt directly with Cow Sense, Leachman and ASA. I thoroughly recommend this service as a way to deal with DNA, registrations, birthweights, weaning weights, ultrasound, breeding records etc. Sometimes life is too short to do everything!
